Hi all,

I have an '04 Civic Hybrid with the CVT and 74,000 miles. When I come to a complete stop, and step on the gas to get the car moving again, I feel a rumble/grinding noise from the passenger's side of the car, as though the passenger's side was over rumble strips or rough pavement. It varies in intensity with how hard I step on the accelerator. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

back from the one month ago dead.

My gf just bought an 04 civic hybrid with 51k miles and has the same problem.

Step 1: Some people say you need to change the transmission fluid and sometimes that works.

Step 2: Others say you need to change or clean an EGR valve and that works.

Step 3: Warrantied by Honda for 7 years and 100,000 miles: You need to replace your start clutch. Take it to honda and let them know that you know about this warranty extension.
