Blarg. Yeah that will probably be totalled. Unibody and rear quarter panels will have to be replaced and those are big pieces with a lot of welding involved. Then add paint and finish work, plus the new plastic bumper cover. Just parts would probably run a body shop right around $2K before paint and labor.

Looks like you get to go car shoping.....I hope you are OK and that no one was hurt. With that said since this was in no way our fault, make sure you stick it to the other persons insurance. You need to be compinsated for your car, pain and suffering, inconvenience, mental anguish, loss time from work and any thing else you can think of.

I had the same thing last year. I got hit from both sides right behind the rear tires. I had about that much damage except my trunk was fine. The woman that pushed me into the third car paid for the repairs. It cost about $7k.

ouch thats gonna be totalled, if i had to guess id say at least 6k at the body shop. thats rough good luck with the search for a new car
