EX exhaust swap.. not a repost..

Okay before someone get's pissed i need an answer. Rear this carefully.

I have an 02 civic LX coupe. The manifold is cracked and the CAT is throwing the 0420 code.

I have been trying to buy a new manifold/cat for months and I have had no luck. I refuse to spent 300+ on a brand new manifold for the car when I just like bought the car.

Now I installed a Greddy SP2 exhaust (full catback)

Now my question is since i can get my hands on EX manifolds will i have to replace the downpipe? I mean I want to use my greddy or do I have to buy a whole new exhaust for the EX.

If you know what I mean, please let me know.

If not, I will try to explain this better

The size of the exhaust manifolds and downpipes are different between the lx and ex so you will have to get a ex downpipe. Do you have a picture of SP2 pipping? If you do I could tell you if it will bolt up to an ex downpipe.

Check out my post on honda-tech if I confused you. I posted some pics and info that my help you. I'm OSK Automotive. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1923282
