clunking sound when taking off

alright, I have a 2001 lx coupe that is k-swapped with hasport mounts. when I take off, there's an audible (not super loud) clunk that comes from either sounds like right in front of the firewall or somewhere along the passenger side. it happens from dead stops and when i shift into another gear when the vehicle doesnt have much momentum. it doesnt usually do it when it's hot out, which makes sense because things are probably just expanding. also, my springs aren't indexed right and i think my struts are probably closer to 50k miles old (koni yellows). i'm going to replace the suspension, probably just with some tokico blues and sportlines, but i was wondering if it's a possibility that a motor mount or transmission mount could be bad? or if it'd be a good idea to get new inserts for them. the mounts are coming up on 4 years old i believe.

Re: clunking sound when taking off

I bet it has something to do wit the struts, dampeners, or shocks....I had this problem and they replaced i think all of those for the front right or back right side and it was fine after that
