i have a question im posting up to get a bunch of answers so anything please. everythings been fine with my car for a while. a few hours ago i took off some ebay oil cap i had on and put my oem one back on. i havnt done any new mods for a while. the last thing i did was a header and i have an ex so there shouldnt be an emission issues or anything liek that. so my mom borrows my car to go to the store. she comes back and i get in the car to go out and this little orange malfunction light popped up. i havnt put gas in for a week so the gas cap isnt an issue either..i drove around. turnd car off and on...about 20 mins later it turns off...whgat could this mean? i havnt got in it since it tunrd off but im just wondering what could have caused that. shoudl i take it to the dealer? car has 76,000 miles and is due for an oil change soon. heres a pic...

when it comes on plug in a code reader to find out what it is. we wont know what it is till you get the code it is throwing

id like to cuz everytime she comes out of my car i find sumthing wrong or different... i guess she doesnt liek driving her hooptie and stopping for gas every day. id get tired of it too after a while..thanks anyway guys

Its hard to say what it is without getting the actual code. Autozone will plug a reader into it and pull the code for free. I have a code reader here in the garage, but I'm in England and you're not.
