CEL + 80% compression loss....HELP

so.... my BLINKING check engine light is on... ran my OBDII reader and it says misfire cylinder 1+3 and multiple misfire

switched out the coils on 1+3 to 2+4 and same result. same with spark plugs.

ran a compression test on the cylinders. 30 psi on 1, 150 psi on 2-4.

as far as i am knowlegable, it could be a rounded off cam and/or floated/bent valves...

any suggestions to as what else it could be?

thanks

Fried rings, melted piston, cracked sleeve
Not gonna be a rounded off cam... if it was rounded off, the valves wouldnt open, and you'd have an excessively high compression reading.

well, its definately in the head, not the bottom end.

there isn't a regular knocking... just sputtering unevenly

either way u look at it dude ur gonna have to take the head off. so do it or have someone do it for you and look for fried piston rings, melted pistons, and cracked sleeves if you cant see any then go buy a new head gasket and put it back together if it still does it then u need new rings, pistons, or sleeves and u gotta take the engine to a machine shop for the sleeves

that doesnt mean the issue isnt in the bottom end. at 30 PSI, something major is wrong. either you have fried piston rings, a valve not seating.

perform a cylinder leak test and see what you get.
