Its only happen since the beginning of the week but while i am driving the interior light (i.e the seatbelt light) pulses. Then when i come to a stop sign or light the car shakes like if it was going to stall out. My rpm meter when this starts to happen goes down to almost the 0. Its just above it. I have to shut off the car and wait a while before starting it up and making it to where i have to be. I have replaced the altenator, battery, dist. cap + rotor, spark plugs and wires, and new belts. the car is a automatic

take it to an auto zone or somewhere they can plug in to the pcm and see if theres a code in it the dealer can tell you exactly whats srong but its not free like auto zone or other places like that

what happens if you put it in park, or neutral when this starts to happens, instead of shutting the engine off??

well the battery light indicates the the battery isnt being charged. and you said you got a new alternator? maybe the belt isnt at the right tension. or the alts ground is bad or the wiring harness is damaged. check out the connections on the alternator and make sure everything is connected good.

could also be as simple as the battery terminal connectors not having tight connections. I had similar charging problems (new alt and battery) and it was a loose connection.

When i put it in park and neutral the rpms go right back up. So thats what i havew been doing when i come to a stop. I also have had the belts put on by a shop and i have already cleaned the battery conections and made sure they were tight.I have had electrical problems witht the car since i got them just not this bad.. So if anyone can think of something else i would appreciate it becuase this is annoying the hell out of me

maybe its an electrical problem? maybe bad grounds? check the tension of the belts with your finger by pressing in the center of the belts should be about .25-.40 deflection.

Well i figured out that when i drive with my lights on the battery light wont flash anymore... So i believe its an electrical problem with my lights. If anyone knows how i can go about seeing where it comes from please let me know. Thanks everyone
