I smell this bad burning after i turn my car off i think its the cat conv. Does anyone know if you can put a test pipe on the 7th gen? or where i can get one? Also my check engine light is not on but the mant req light is flashing when i turn it on then it goes off. please help...

could it be that u got some oil on ur muffler or ur valve cover is leaking oil onto the exaust manifold? if u r catalytic converter is bad i believe it will show check engine light on.

the maintenace req light blinking and then going off could mean that u r ready for maintenance on ur car. u can reset it urself if u just got maintenance done on it.

Have you looked under the car at the exhaust. You may have picked up a plastic bag while driving that is burning on your exhaust.
