Defrosting outside mirrors...
Would anyone know if it is possible to swap out your U.S. outside mirrors with Canadian defrosting mirrors? Our cars (07's) come out of Canada, and defrosting mirrors are an option up there. It appears to me to be a simple swap/plug-in/new switch on the HVAC unit. Any thoughts?

I think it could be done but... I doubt it will be 100% plug and play.
On the 7th gen Civics the wire colors for the mirrors are the same between US/Canada but they are in different locations in the connector. My guess is the wiring you would need will not be present on the US model.
