as it says i bought a wrecked em2 this past week. i had no idea what i was getting myself into. the front end was damaged badly. the bumper reinforcement was bowed, ac condensor and radiator is gone, the core support was damaged, and the hood hinges were bent. since i bought it, i have bought all the parts necessary to fix it. i got an estimate from a body shop earlier before i bought all my parts and he wanted 900 for all the parts and another 600 for installation. i bought all my parts for 500 and want to get core support installed. he said it would be 400. i was wondering if any of you had any work done and how much it cost you.

I wouldn't pay a body shop that much unless they are going to paint it to match.
R/R of a fender takes 10 minutes after the plastic bumper cover is off, 5-6 bolts and you're done. Taking off said bumper cover is about a 20 minute job - for that its 6 screws and about a dozen of the little plastic fasteners. For the actual bumper reinforcement, its 4 14mm bolts - a 5 minute job.
By the core support, do you mean the subframe? If so, a jack, two jackstands, a block of wood, and a set of metric sockets will allow to R/R that. Don't get taken by the bodyshop for just removal and replacement of new parts you already have. You're looking at a 3 hour job, tops, here.

i have all the parts now, but when i looked more into it, the right frame rail is buckled. now im screwed. its either i pay to put it on the frame puller or cut it of and section a new piece. i dont have much to spend so im gonna go with the second choice. i disassembled everything and now the only thing that has to come off is the core support. i have someone to weld that in, but the only thing that is killing me is the frame rail. cut frame rail = uber unsafe.

which section of the front frame horn area do you need? ive got a wrecked 01 coupe and i have the front left section left. ill cut off the whole thing and sell it to you if you want it. 98% of my drag cars were wrecked when i got them. rebuilding them is half the fun. ive got like 8 92-95 civics, a few 96-00, 2 7thgens, 2nd gen integra, few accords, 2 prelude type sh's, jdm h22a 98 prelude, and a few other shitboxes.
