Sell car with transmission probkem?
My 2001 EX needs a rebuilt transmission, new clutch, clutch master cylinder, and slave cylinder. The estimate to get this fixed is $2220 plus tax. The bluebook for my car to trade in with these problems is $5500. The reason I list the trade-in value is because there is a dealership with a '96 GSR with 97000 miles for $7500, which is way above bluebook. Should I fix my car or try to trade it in and talk down the price on the Integra?

That's what I figured. I love my em2 but I don't have that kind of money to dump on tranny problems.

Do it yourself holmes. I bought a slightly used tranny for $500. Took 2 days in my carport, no power tools.
