Headlight issues (stock '01 EX Coupe)

a few nights ago, (first night the weather was really cold in the Northeast) I started my car, and both my headlights wouldn't turn on.

Now, the parking lights and the high-beams both work, but after changing out one of the bulbs, I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that the issue is not with the bulbs.

I have not taken it to Auto-zone to get the codes read, though that is the next step (after work tonight), but I was wondering if someone could provide some insight as to what would cause this and how much it could be to fix.

So far, I believe it is an issue with a switch or a relay in the car, but I am not positive.

Thanks for your inputs.

Dan

All 01s and some 02s had a recall to repair/replace the headlight switch and/or repair connector wiring at the switch.

The dealer most likely can run your VIN to check it.

If you can find a link to the 7th gen TSBs.... You will find it there.
