need help please!!!!!!!!!

I turned my auto 01 civic in to a 5-speed using the auto ECU and now it will not pass smog beacuse of the shift selinods that are sending error codes. I have a 5-speed ECU but when I plug it in the car will not start it will turn over just fine but will not fire, although there is the possbility that the 5-speed ECU is no good because i pulled it from a wreaked car. It also has only 3 plugs where the auto ECU has 4. Im wondering if I am going to have to buy a MT wiring harness.

you guys are my last hope or my car is going to be junk because I will not be able to register it. Any insight would be much apreaciated. if you want pictures i will get some.

reason why it wont start its because your 5 speed ECU is set for the old immobilizer from the old civic, you need to go to a honda dealer and get your keys reflashed for the new ECU so that the immobilizer code matches up

The key? is there a chip in the key that sends a code to start the car?

yeah, the chip in the key has an immobilizer code that must match the code in the ECU
