i own a 01 ex d17a7....when cold the car intermitantly hesitates....i work at a shop and i have put the ngk iridiums in it, and performed a combustion service to it.....does anyone have any ideas?????
also intermitantly wants to stall but never does, i have replaced the iac and took car to dealer to have the ideal relearn since none of my 5 scantools will do it.....does anyone have any ideas?????
the only thing done to it is a cold air intake, and custom 2 1/4'' exhaust

Your performance mod's sound as though you could need more fuel. However, on my stock engine, I had a slight problem with hesitation when shifting between gears. The engine was hard to start and I started noticing my lights being dimmer and dimmer before starting the car. Turns out the battery died! I put a voltmeter on the battery while the engine was killed, and it hovered around 10 volts! What I believe was happening was that the alternator was charging the system during higher rpms, then when I'd shift and the alternator would turn off, the electrical system would run back down to 10 volts, causing all sorts of strange mishaps (even had the car completely die on me once while jammin' at a mediocre level). But in your case, it's probably got something more to do with your performance modifications.

Couple of questions:
Manual or automatic?
Does it idle low at a stop?
Have you used any injector cleaner like FP60?
