door panel rattle on coupe
actually its the plastic piece between the door panel and the rubber thing that touches the window...
mine seems to be a little loose near the end towards the side mirrors on both doors...which in turn causes it to vibrate when i have my radio on (if the song has bass of course)...is this present on anyone's cars too?

Well damn near my whole car rattles so i guess your lucky there. The door panels, the rear deck, the glove box, the drivers side lower dash and a few other things. Try taking it to the dealership see if they will help you I doubt it though.
yes rattling is a huge issue with the 7th gen civics.
Here's a helpful suggestion posted a while back from another forum member...
He and a friend took his car for a drive with a post-it notepad... they put a post-it on everything that rattled... from there, he took it to the dealer, and the service guy said the post-it's helped alot and well, last i heard his ride was rattle free... might be something to try!

How does the dealership address this rattle issue? Use silicone between plastic parts? Add some kind of rubber/plastic damper? I dunno... just curious to know how I could take this up with my dealership.
I believe there would be different techniques for different parts of the car. My dealer, in an attempt to fix my back panel rattles, coated the underside of the panel with foam tape... some places might do good with foam, cardboard, whatever gets the job done.
The essential part is: new cars shouldn't be rattling as much as these civics do. While it isn't a serious problem, it is a problem... and should be fixed by your dealer. Especially when honda runs ads regarding the quietness of the interior of the civic.
