n/a blow off valve

i have a 2004 honda civic dx vp with a auto.when i hit the gas it sound like a blow off valve is going off but its very low and short(last for about 1/2 a second)could it be a vacuum tube is loose or something?

Is it more of a sucking sound? Cuz your car does suck...

really it does, probably just your intake buddy, if it was a vac hose your idle would be all over the place.

at first i thought you were gonna ask if theres a way to put a blow off valve on a n/a. haha but yea its the intake. and youll hear it more if you get an aftermarket intake.

it especially sounds like that when its cold and driving the car slow for a while till it starts getting warm

i asure you its not the intake.i know what the intake sounds like and i know it is not that.its a akward noise thats sounds like a very high pitched blow off valve only when i hit the throttle and let it go. and by the way im not new to this i just had a simple question

where do you hear the noise. in the engine bay. exhaust and do you have any mods.

probally an exhaust leak. check the bolts on you exhaust manifold

check your throttle body. check if there is carbon buildup, usually you get a really high pitched whistle if there is excessive air when the plate is closed.
