Aem V2 - Car Automatically Goes!
Aem V2 - Car Automatically Goes!
I just installed the aem v2. today, my car went crazy. the gas pedal was completely useless. i could push it down all the way and no response. the problem was that the car was accelerating by itself! when i braked, it still accelerated! i almost got killed! is there anything wrong with my intake? i let the engine cool for a bit, wiggled around the IAT sensor, and the car worked until i got home. i'm not gonna try the car again until i know the problem. here's my intake and the IAT sensor. is it suppose to be this loose? i can't get it to go any longer.

I'm aware there's a throttle you can move by your hand in the engine bay and it moves fine, now that the car is working.
how could i avoid this problem in the future?
how do i ensure that the throttle doesn't get stuck (if this is indeed the problem)?

Try taking off the intake to check that something didn't drop into your throttle body which may have wedged the butterfly open. When you played with the throttle cable, if something was in the TB it may have fallen into your intake manifold. Pull of the TB and check to see if you can see anything.
Was your throttle cable kinked or not fully set in the groove?
