Glovebox rattle.

My glovebox has gotten very loose and I need to fix it. What is the best way to tighten it up? When you close it, there seems to be about 1/4" play (rattles like crazy when you hit a bump). Thanks guys!

is the lock broken/lose (on the door) or is the piece it locks to broken/lose

either way i believe both can be tightened with hand tools...

Well, they are not loose, it seems that there is a gap between the latch and the catch when you close it.

pull it open and then weather strip the crap out of it where the door meets the dash. that will tight'n it a little
