I don't own a civic I have been on this site since 2003. Just got some names banned. You might remember 2k2civ34 or even SLO REX. Yeah those were me. I recently sold my Civic for a 2004 WRX

shakes

yeah its deffinately from the tie rod end. i replaced the inner tie rod end on my 96 civic and its fine now, if its warped brakes it doesnt matter what speed your doing if u brake hard enough. im a hard core engine braker, i hardly use my brakes and it happened to me, lift the car and shake the tire in and out to see if there is excess play in the tie rod end inner or outer, possibly both if your using bigger and wider rims than stock (you'll blow them out much faster with oversized wheels.)
