I stalled my car twice!! just really worried
Hi guys,
Today, i stalled my car twice. They were both pretty bad. The car shuttered and just went off. Will this affect my car long-term?? I am really worried for some reason. It is hurting my stomach inside. Give me some confidence that my car wont break! Thanks!!

i used to stall my 88 dodge omni all the time when i was learning stick on it, and that didnt seem to hurt it. the quicker you get used to it the better, but i think it would take a lot of stalling to actually hurt anything
I have stalled an uncountable amount of times in my car because I learned how to drive a manual transmission with it... don't worry! It's kew! Have one on me. Your car is fine.

Haha, I should've just quoted you! But yeah, at least I've got someone to back up my proof.
I learned how to drive stick on my 01 and stalled god knows how many times....especially when it only had......like 50 miles on it, lol. It's a constant learning experience, and I think we all always get better and better. Right?
When I learned to drive a stick I used to say "I'm sorry" to my teacher every time I stalled the car. He said, "Don't worry" I said yeah, "but I don't wanna screw up the car". He told me it doesn't. I would think that it must be taxing on the battery or alternator though. I have always heard that it is better to leave a car running than turn it on and off frequently.
