Tread wear and clutch engagement sound.
Sorry, topic title no longer related to post. Here are my real issues:
My 97 civic with 90K miles is making a growling or purring noise when the clutch is engaged. I hear it in first and second gear. Also, when idle and I DON'T press the clutch, I hear a whining noise, which apparently is the input shaft bearing that I read about in the sticky post. Could all these issues be related to the input shaft bearing?
thanks in advance.
