Type-R Wing Mirrors

Hello people,

A pedestrian recently ran in fornt of me, cracked my windscreen & knocked my driver side wing mirror off.

It's a 51 Honda Civic VTEC SE and I was wondering if it's possible to install the Type-R wing mirrors onto it. I've seen a couple going cheap somewhere.

Your help appreciated.

He's from the UK like me, a 51 plate means that it is in the second half of 2001 / beginning of 2002.
How does a Type-R wing mirror differ from a standard one?
