minor problem i'm having,

when i push the a/c button it does nothing sometimes. the light stays on and a/c still is pumping. do you think its the switch or something more in detail?

oh i do have 2 more,

why when i have the vent control on defrost does air still come out of my head vents esp. the one closest to the driver door?

and

do any of you know why air comes out of the vents if the fan is off?

Is your defroster on when this problem happens? The A/C will automatically turn on when the defroster is switched on and can't be switched off unless you turn off the defroster. Yes air will come out on the upper vents to help defrost the side windows.

The way to keep air from coming through you vents when the fan is off is to turn on the recirculate button.

If you have your owners manual, read through it, it will answer all sorts of questions you might have.
