tire prob's

just wondering if anyone has a rough ride with there rims larger than 16's . I've put 17's on mine and ive got a rough ride and bad steering on old paved road?

My only question is what rubber did you put on your rims? Feeling the road more really doesn't have anything to do with the size of the rim it is what rubber you put on.

215/40/zr17's faulkens of course the car is pulling to the driver side now going to get it fixed today

with a lower profile tire more of the shock is transmitted to you vs. being absorbed in the sidewall

You can't get enough sidewall on a 17 to stop a bad ride. I suggest avoiding the bumps.

the only other option you have with 17's is to go with some 215/45/17 instead.

Just a little wider. I had 215/45/17's before. I'm gonna try 50 series next time around.
