P1456 & P1457????
So few weeks back my check engine light came on and then I took it to Honda and had them run a diag check on it to see wassupp, so they did and the codes P1456 and 1457 came up (EVAP CONTROL) anyone have any idea what this problem may be? they said something about a canister and a short in the wire, but then again they couldnt even fix it, lol, my check engine lights comes on and goes off every now and again, car runs just fine though.....anyones info greatly appreciated

ODB II codes:
not mentioned but mention: P1455 Evap. Emission Control Sys. Leak Detected (Gross Leak/No Flow)
P1456 Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P1457 Unable To Pull Vacuum In Tank
I say replace the gas cap. It will take about three 30 minute drives cycles for the ecu to to reset itself.
This is why you see it on and off from time to time.
Others with issue replaced the gas cap and the issues was resolved.
