Stock Tach, Autometer Tach and Adapter.

Ok, I have an my Autometer Tach wired to my ECU signal wire. Well I got an adapter for it, i just installed the adapter between the tach and the ECU. We'll now the stock tach is not working. Not sure why installing the adapter between the ECU and the Autometer Tach would make the stock tach stop working. Any clues?? Thanks.

i have a betetr questoon, why did you put an extra tach in your car? are you swapped? and the autometer tach could be messing up your signal, the signal frot he ECU is for all the guages not just your tach. tap into your tach wire under the hood it is a blue wire you can find it right behind your battery.
