about four months ago i had a oil leak, i didnt notice the problem until there wasnt enough oil for the vtec to kick in. As soon as that happened i checked the dipstick and it was bone dry, about two quarts low or more. So i ended up fixing the leak but im burning half a quart a week now. And i did a compression test this weekend and i was shocked. Across the head i was at
90-70-70-90 psi.(give or take 5psi). I think we are supposed to be at 135psi on a EX. I will be getting another engine again and installing it , but it will take a few months before i have the time or the funds for it. Is there anything i can do to improve my compression until then without taking the engine apart. Or any other advice keeping my engine alive till then.

Try a can of Restore. Worked pretty well in some bad engines I have had.
