Body Work in SE Michigan?
Body Work in SE Michigan?
Alright, so back on the 29th I got backed into by an Art Van truck. It was one of their huge delivery crate trucks and it pretty much trashed my front end. Both of my headlights are broken, my grill is torn up, and my front bumper is pretty marred.
I got promised left and right that everything would be taken care of that their insurance will cover EVERYTHING and I woudn't have to worry about a thing. That was then. Fast forward to today and turns out that their insurance isn't going to cover a damn thing and that I have to go through my own insurance company to get everything done. Michigan is a "no fault" state. So even though I was parked behind him at a red light and he hit ME, I still have to pay my deductable and deal with my insurance company and an eventual rise in rates.
I've been a relatively safe driver all of this time and have never had an accident. I've never even been pulled over, so rather than pay the extra 60 bucks a month to have a 500 deductable, I went ahead and just went with a 1000 deductable.
Damages to my car don't look to be much over 600-700. But I might have to have my radiator support pulled out a little bit, that or my hood is bent up. Does anyone on here know anyone that does body work and could cut a deal? Anyone want to give a fellow 7th Genner a hand if they are a body work guy?
I'll post pictures soon enough to give you an idea of the damage. It's not bad- but I'm just pissed! I haven't even made 3 payments on this car!
So.. please

Hey Derwood,
Ive had body work done by Fisher auto body and they did great. They do the official body work for Suburban Honda. they are on Grand River in Farmington, right by the harley davidson dealership and across from panera next to the cemetary...Im sure you could mapquest them if your not from this area but they are the only place I know of that does good work fast
