hid will not work on driver side

hey everyone... i just tried to install my hid kit today and i was having difficulty with getting it to work. Okay, so here is the problem... both the hids work BUT only when hooked up to the passenger side headlight. When i hooked up the hid to the driver side the hid would not work. Now there is nothing wrong with the driver side because it works perfectly fine with the stock halogen bulb. I can't seem to figure out the problem so could someone please help me. Thanks in advance.

your stock wiring isn't enough to support power-up current to both ballast.
