i hate my firestones!
those darn tires cant grip the road even if my life counted on it! i swear, i used to be able to take the "Michigan Turn-arounds" at a decent speed (35-40) with no problems when i first got the car... now they just suck.. igatta go like 25-30... takes the fun out

Rep Power: 0 I have to agree with hating the firestones. Those have to be the poorest excuse for tires I have ever seen. When it rains around here my car does not catch traction at all. And the last ice storm we had I didn't think I was going to make it home. Defintely looking into different tires, along with rims. Any suggestions?

Rep Power: 0 Car manufactures almost always buy some of the cheapest tires that are decent. Exceptions of course with higher performance cars. And firestone happens to cater to the majority of auto makers. I don't know if they still do but Acura used to put Michelins on their cars which were actually pretty good. Honda needs to do that as well, not just on their luxury line.

Rep Power: 0 Guys! I cut one of my tires so I had to exchange them. So I changed two front ones[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] I got Dunlops and let me tell you I AM IN HEAVEN!!!! And that is when I realize how much the firestones SUCKED [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]

Been driving 23 Quebec winters on various all-seasons and saying I should get snows next year but never did. The first snowfall last year with my 4 month old firestones scared me to death! Off they came, replaced by Pirelli snows... whew!
This spring I sell or give them away.

Rep Power: 341 im looking to get michellins.. my fams got michellins on all our cars, n i love them. now i jsut gatta purposly peel out n wear out the tires faster so i can convince my mom into lettin me buy new tires
