if your going to the dealership they just usually would replace the arm, but for that prolly 1 to 2 hours of their labor rate........this is my guess cuyz at my work here(walnut creek ford) i get paid 2 hours to do lower control arms. oh yea btw i get paid flat rate so yea.....

lol, yea well i checked the dealer prices and they want 160 just for labor, fu<k that, this one guy at a shop said that the only way to get the bushing out and vice versa is on a machine how much of that is true idk, thats why i havent tried doing it myself, cause i can get the arm out but then if i really need a machine to get the bushing out, i think i might go berserk and break something else.

Its probably easier to just spend $85 on a whole new front LCA, which also comes with a new ball joint and change it yourself. you DO need a press to get the bushings in and out, its not a job thats doable by hand.

yea he is right.....they do charge up the *** for labor and diag time at the dealership. over here at my work we it used to be $10 an hour, but guess wat, its about $160 an hour....and funny enough there are still alot of people that flock to the dealership to get like at least 6 hours of work done to there car.

well if you have access to someone at a machine shop then they can press it out...but like boilmaker said it is much easier and less time consuming to just buy a new lca.
