Does anyone know were the best source for recall and/or defects are for the Honda Civic any year, but of course specifically for the 7th generation is my concern. The only reason I ask both me and a friend have 7th gens and were are currently in the vicinity of 60 to 75 thousand miles both with front motor mounts busted and possible others haven’t check yet but the odd thing is his car is a 03 and mine is an 01 I have less mileage

Any help would greatly be appreciated

there were only a few recalls...most are tech service bulletin. if your car is under warranty and it applies, print it out and take it to the dealer. they have to fix for free.

ya but alot of those are easy fixes and they tell you how its supposed to be done.

I don't know how helpful this is but here in Canada a guy from Honda Canada told me the only recalls were for fuel pump corrosion and something else to do with fuel lines. This may not help your situation but just thought i would throw it out there.
