my car is sick. lol *update#5*
alright the other day i was at a dead stop for at least 10min due to traffic. i just happened to be looking at my rpms out of habbit and my CEL comes on. WTF!! take it to pepboys the following day and get the these codes:
po300 random misfire
po302 cylinder misfire
mechanic told me it could be spark plugs(last changed 40-50,000 miles ago), or something along that line which i dont know could be. i changed the spark plugs bout 20 min ago, let it idle for awhile then drove home but CEL stayed on. i really dont want to take it to honda and get raped, but if it comes to that then i will. any thoughts???

pull the battery for 10 min (or use the scanner you used to read them) to clear the CEL, see if it comes back on. if not, then you're fine, if still on, go run diagnostics again at autozone for free.
How'd the plugs look when you pulled em out?

out the door to do that right now.
the plugs looked all the same, brown. didnt see anything unusual, but then i dont know what the hell im looking for. haha
alright CEL stayed off. i had no idea i had to disconnect the battery, i thought it would just turn off. so relieved that it was only spark plugs. i was using bosch platinum, but this time i bought NGK iridium plugs. car runs so much smoother with these, should have get them years ago when i got the car. +1 for boiler for helping me with something so lil

**UPDATE**
Same **** has happend twice since i changed the plugs but only happens when i let the car idle for about 10min. i didnt get the codes checked these 2 other times but im pretty sure its the same misfire codes. i think maybe i have an electrical problem like the spark plug wires or coils or something. so now its constant restarting when im in traffic 5+ min.

i had the same problem.... the dude at autozone said it could be something along the lines of fuel. do you use 89 octane fuel? if so that cud be the problem. i know the car is made for 89 blah blah but i put 91 and some octane booster, just like 10 bucks worth when i was almost empty then cleared the code and the cel went away ever since.
