headlights...is it just me, or....??

does anyone else ever get highbeams flashed at them by other cars on the road because they think you have YOUR highbeams on when you really don't? it's not the newness of the bulbs either....can't be, my car is pushing 14k miles. but i swear, it happens to me allllll the time. it happened again tonight.... sometimes when i'm driving behind someone and not even close to tailgating them, they will pull off to the side to let me pass, as if my headlights were annoying behind them. am i the only one?

Hmmm... maybe you should check with the service manager next time you're in. Your headlights might be aimed too high. This can be checked and adjusted quickly.

It never has happened with my EL and I run with PIAA Super Whites.

It happens to me almost everytime I drive at night. And I have made sure that my headlights are aimed correctly.

I've had that happen to me a few times as well. DOnt think there's a need to get them checked out though. Unless your car has been crashed there shouldnt be a reason why they are aimed to high. Unless of course you still ahvent lowered your car. haha Just kiddin!

Your not the only one, i get that constantly, when i had my hyperwhites in nobody would flash me. Now im back to stock bulbs and i get flashed constantly. Actually the other night i was driving and flashed somebody because it seemed their brights were on and they flashed me the other car was a 2k1 sedan. His lights were extremely bright now i know what other people see when im driving.

If you have hyperwhites, then there's the problem.

If you have stock bulbs, I think the could use some re-alignment but I kinda doubt that unless you're trying to go off-road in a Civic with some monster tires.

I don't think the stock bulbs are that bright by the way but this was posted before... it ended up that it was because the person had hyperwhite bulbs and it's kinda understanding to me on how it creates a problem... the BRIGHT light it emits and the reflective chrome paint... I'd be leery of driving with the high beams on - on accident (and watch all the cars in front of you hit the barriers and each other as if it were bumper cars...)

people are stupid if they dont figure out that if you do have some good bulbs...that the only reason it looks like you're flashin high beams or have them on is becuase of the ground! uneven surfaces make the headlights bounce so it looks like you're flashin at someone...

I get flashed at least 3 times a night when i'm out.. it's not that i have esp bright 80w bulbs, i have the PIAA super xtreme white's that just came out.. although the extra weight in the back prolly doesn't help either.. doens't bother me too much though.. i just flash them back real quick to let them know to stfu.

Damn, be careful! You don't want a person to be blinded by your already bright lights and next thing you know, Kori mysteriously never returns back to the Civic threads (or is away from them for a long time). That would suck.

I never get flashed when I have the regular headlights on (they're stock). But for some reason when I drive with just those little headlights that come on with the parking lights I get flashed all the time. I only use those if it's dusk or overcast, never at night. But for some reason people don't think my little lights are good enough for low light (not to be confused with nighttime) conditions.

BTW, the only flashing I like is the kind done by hotties lifting up their shirts! Headlight flashers can kiss my

Whoa! I didn't know that Steve Garrett was still on the case!

Which reminds me... if you're leading the cops on a chase around the big island, how many times do you circle it before giving up?

People flash me once in a while cuz they think I have my high beams on. I also have Razo bulbs. They're bright when you look at them, even far away. When people flash me I just flash em back.
