I was at the drive thru, pushed the up button and i heard a bang like someone threw something at my car. half a second later my window fell into the door. The motor works still, started to take apart the door and noticed the cable had snapped(quality parts huh!). Anyway all I need is a new regulator or what? I was hesitant to cut out the thin plastic sheet between the doors till I got that white paste that holds it on. So its been out of commission for awhile. I took to the dealer and they said it would be around $300, and I laughed. Is it easy to fix or should I just bring it to a local repair shop other than a dealer? I have a 2002 civic Lx

hi my power window is not woking the way it shold it gets stock went i try to close it, it moves alot side to side i check everything it seeem fine the motor has full power does anyone now how i can fix it
