Rep Power: 0 Strut Spring Perch Problem: HELP
ok i tried searching out couldn't find the right thread....i believe this also happened with another member....
but i need help....the rear right of the car, bottom perch of the struts that holds the spring suddenly "gave in"
heres a pic (this from the DIY).... the red circle shows the right place the perch should be, the blue circle shows where MY perch is now, i check it out and raised the car, the perch and spring moves easily up and down....
dunno what to do???

Rep Power: 0 heres an update...well, i had it snapped back in...it worked for awhile then it bottomed out again...that piece is not replaceable, the entire shock has to be replaced, this blows...so heres what i found out, the piece im talking about is not even welded on the shocks, its only clamped on tightly (very stupid of honda)...and you cant weld the piece back on cuz it will cause the fluid inside the shocks to heat and could cause an explosion....so now im trying to get a used shock...
just got my self a set of rsx struts and spring assembly thanks to em2typeflex.....thanks a lot man, my car should be fine by tomorrow, thanks a lot man.....
