Pulling with a spare normal?

well i had never driven on a spare in my life, up until 2 nights ago when i ran up a curb (streets were more icy than wet ) anyways i popped the drivers front tire. and now when i drive my car pulls to the left. is it normal with a spare? or did i **** something else up? if so what can it be n how do i fix thx

Yes, it's normal. The spare tire is smaller than a regular tire, so naturally, it will tend towards that direction.

That's why they're noted as "temporary".

You also may have damaged something in the supension, you wanna have that checked out.

You hit a curb? Pretty good chance alignment is off.

i hit a curb an bent the lower control arm an thats probably what warped the rotor a little latr you want to have the entire assembly checked out it will save you money an headache in the long run, Curbs hit hard at forty!!!

thx for the help. but new problem. i put on another tire and now the problem is worse. the car wont just veer left, it jerks there. and on top of that my car feels a lot more sluggish when i turn hard left compared to when i turn hard right where it feels tight and normal. wtf? what did i break now

Like everyone else said you either bent/broke something or your alignment is probably off. Take it to a shop have them look at it. I hit a couple curbs before (thankfully in cars i dont care about) and they can really f cars up. You dont think going 20-30 mph and hitting a curb isnt going to hurt anything but it does. Also I have driven on spares before and noticed no difference to a regular tire other than you are not supposed to go over a certain speed usually like 55 or 60mph, so in answer to topic question I would say no.
