How can i install headers w/ out CEL?????

Ok, i've had header(s) w/e u wanna call it, but i took them off due to the fact of the CEL, which is caused by the sensor, the CEL just ruined my gas milage and HP, anyways, YES! i tried the MIL eliminator, and i tried the non fouler, but the alternator was in the way, btw, these were shorty headers, so im thinking i can get a cat-back and use the nonfouler, but what else can i do????
