well despite my best efforts of using dash protectant and heat shields, the plastic srs cover on the dash has a 4 inch crack in it and looks like the airbag is trying to escape cause its an open cut. also the plastic is really faded. is there a way to buy another cover and swap it out? or am i gonna make a bigger mess of things.

WOW!!!! What kinda protectant you used? Cuz I've been hearing that Armoral destroys you dash........

thats why i don't use it. i always use turtle wax. first the green stuff but i also picked up some of their platinum one. it doesn't dry out the dash. actually the entire rest of the dash is in show room condition so it makes me think they stuck a cheap plastic in there if its the ONLY part that faded and cracked. hey wait is this something covered under warranty as a safety issue??
