Ok so about a month or so ago I had my car brought in under warranty for a heating issue. They ended up replacing the following:

Head Gasket
Spark Plugs
Thermostat
VTec Solenoid
Radiator

They also did an oil change and it was all under warranty. The car only had approz. 64 on it. I am now at 65,500 and the other day the car went into safety mode and would not rev past 4k and the light came on. I checked the oil and the dipstick was bone dry! I put in two quarts of oil, disconnected the battery for a few minutes then reconnected. The light went off and now the car drives perfectly fine but wtf? There are no leaks, no smoke, nada. I called the dealership who did the work and am waiting for a reply.

On a side note, this same issue occurred back in the summer when I was approx 1k over my oil change, my own dumb fault and so I am under the impression that they did not do the oil change they put down for me when it was in. I was due at 64 when they did it and its now 1k over again and it happens???

new engine time. you prolly took off 100k + miles from the engines life if the oil wasn't even at min. looks like they forgot. when they swapped my head the oil was at the bare minimum but i was lucky i just drove 15 mins home and rechecked everything.
