How the hell do you fix this. I get this code all the time and its really annoying.

P1505 Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Air Leakage

i tried everthing. even on the new motor I get the same ****. WTF.

have you checked you PCV lines to see if its disconnected or the lines are damaged. same goes with PCV valve, check it too. and the brake booster lines, and the EVAP lines in the engine bay. you have a vacuum leak somewhere.


otherwise, reset the ECU and see if the code comes back. if it doesnt, there is no problem.

Man I have checked every vaccum line and replaced them when I did the motor swap and I still get this ****. I reset it and in about 3 days it comes back. Hell sometimes even in 10 min. grrrrrrrr.

itsa 7th gen civic...thats the problem. thank honda for making the BEST trannys and engins......

there is nothing wrong with the honda engines and trannies. I am at 112K at my **** runs strong. problems happen now and then, and this isnt a big problem.

Now Have you replaced the PCV valve? And honestly, have you replaced every vacuum line on the engine? you need to go over every line closely. Pull it off and inspect it if you have to.

i agree that this problem occured on my 03 civic ex (7th gen) after 178,000mi.
I have replaced the PCV valves, inspected all hoses and brake booster lines but no change.
