My AC is not working....
Ok, so 1 day my AC was fine, the next day it just stopped working. I have figured out that when I press the button to turn it on, I do not here any click from the compressor. The light on the button turns on but nothing else. I checked the fuse and the relays that are involved in the AC system and they are good. I heard there is a sensor that controls when to engage the compressor.
* Is it possible that this sensor is not reading correctly and if so, where is it located?
How likely is it that the compressor could be dead?
What about the "compressor clutch?"

ambient temp has alot to do with the AC system.
Now if your compressor isnt coming on, you may have a problem in that circuit with a relay or fuse. Now you said you checked the relays, did you test them or swap them out? If indeed those are fine, either you have low refrigerant in the system preventing the compressor from coming on. Thats the purpose of the pressure switch. Could have a faulty pressure switch, bad coil in the clutch.
Also do the fans come on when you turn the AC on? If they do, you need to troubleshoot the compressor clutch circuit.

It's also possible that a rock punctured the condensor in the front. It the R134 leaks out, the safety switch won't allow the compressor to run.
I'd check the safety switch, and the wires going to it. If all seems fine, you can bridge the switch JUST to see if the compressor will turn on. DO NOT RUN IT LIKE THAT! If the compressor turns on, you probably lost the refrigerant. If it does not, the problem is elsewhere, and electrical.
