Motor Mounts

How good are the stock mounts? I think my buddies mounts are ****ed on his '01 LX coupe, only 130,000 kms. Are there any aftermarket alternatives?

This is what I've heard. I heard that the OEM motor mounts can rip quite easily.

There are some polyurethane inserts (Energy Suspension Motor Mounts) that would make the OEM motor mounts more stiff and ridged, but that would also cause more cabin vibration.

Thanks. Yeah, the stock one ripped in half. I have urethane motor and trans mounts on my BMW and while there is an increase in cabin noise and vibration, any stiff suspesion and stiff tire combinations make it much less noticeable. The direct feel and response is well worth it.
