Gas Cut off early

so since about christmas day ive been filling up at different pumps and everytime im filling it up, the gas pump just cuts off at like half a gallon, then i hold and click it again, and it cuts off 2 seconds later,s o i have to hold the pump there in a certain angle otherwise it cuts out. it never used to do this before some im wondering what the problem is with that. ive probably filled my tank about 5x since, and its still doing that. its a pain. is there any thing i can do so i can just let the pump sit there and do its job.

Usually its the actual pump/nozzle that causes that... But you've been to numerous other Gas Stations too right?

yah, ive gone to a couple i used to go to all the time, the exact same pumps and all. but then i mixed it up once those pumps started cutting off early to see if it was the pump, im pretty sure its not the pump, but some kind of thing in the tank thingy. im not sure what to call it. but theres gotta be something wrong. so i think ive been to like 4 other stations.

On my HCH, I have seen this happen at my last two fill-ups. The petroleum transfer technician has had to restart the fill-up twice. Since I am always way below 1/8 before I fill-up, I can't seem to blame it on the amount of gas, since that is usually constant.

Maybe the weather has something to do with this pheonomenon?
