Well my 02 EX AT does it no matter what the temp is, time of day, month, year. It just slips between 2nd and 3rd consistently. I was sorely disappointed with this model of civic ever since I bought it. So many recalls and problems have occurred with this generation. Hell, my brother has a 97 EX AT and hasn't a problem at all. Luckily, my car is paid off in full but I didn't have the money to buy a new one yet. Bad fortune.
