i bought this speed chip "speed seeker"

suppost to give 20+ HP.

i'm suppose to plug it into my IAT (intake air temperature) but i dont know where the hell that is. i've found some spots with 2 openings that i can attach the 2 wires into.. but i dont want to mess up.

can someone give me a pic of the engine bay and where its located?


p.s. should i even trust this chip & install it?

20+ hp off a chip on our N/A d17 motors is impossible w/o I/H/E vafc AND tuning. well i shouldnt say impossible but its hard as hell to do.

i remember i bought one and i installed it and i didnt feel anything, than i posted a question on this site about it and someone told me that he knew of 2 engines that died from them, so i took mine off right after i read that, i dont think u should put it on

dude... if the speed chip is the resistor that they're selling on ebay do not I repeat DO NOT put it on your engine. All it does it trick your engine to burn more rich... Long term effects are baaaaaaddddddd........

LMAO no thats also a waste of money, if you are trying to make your car faster the only thing you can do is basically turbo, nos or engine swap, u cant make the d17 a fast engine, intake headers and exhaust only add at the most like 10hp
