I have 2001 Civic LX auto.. I bought it not long a go..
I don't know if it's just me.. I have trouble getting the key out of the ignition when in park..
Am I pulling the key out wrong? any of you guys have this problem? Please let me know..
my key gets stuck and won't come out.. i have to restart the car and drive it back and forth and repark to take the key out..
another thing... I was thinking about installing a Cd player.. is it better to get the honda stock or an after market.?
Where should i get it installed? if aftermarket? Bestbuy, Hi-fi buys or circuit city..
Please let me know..

push in on the key when turning it, i forget if its to the off position or just to take it out, i do it naturally now

to answer your other question, aftermarket cd players are better, and if you want the installation done right, take it to a car audio place or do it yourself. dont trust best buy, circuit city or any place like that, they WILL screw it up

Sometime the key gets stuck (that is if you know to push it in then turn)

When it gets stuck and no amount of pushing in and turning will get it out. Turn the steering wheel left and right (wiggle it) a bit while pulling the key out. If not make sure the shifter for the auto transmission is all the way into park.. I had these beads around my shifter once (don't ask [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] ) and when I shoved it into park the beads got in the way so it never went fully into PARK.. the key would get stuck then.

to answer the CD player question...don't take it to Best Buy or Circuit City or any chain like that. Those guys usually don't have any kind of training and will screw your car up. I remember someone posted a story about their experience at Best Buy a couple months ago. Just take it to a local car audio shop. I am sure your town/city has at least one.
