My cars auto and when im stopped at a light sometimes my car shakes. it reminds me of my old car my old car when it did this it was the tranny but it did it all the time, and it was a ford so it was obvious that it would happen, ive had my car for 5 months and has done it maybe 3 times,,, i have 11000km on it......sometimes it feels like its in the back like the exhaust, or once it felt like someone hit me but no one was there. THis happen to anyone else??

YES! I get the same feeling sometimes! Its just like a shaking from the back, around the exhaust, like you said. I dont think its anything to worry about though, but then again...I've also gotten that feeling like someone came up behind and tapped me. Its so strange. Maybe its an auto thang[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]
Glad I'm not the only one. Maybe I will bring it up at the dealer the next time I have to go.

Yeah, I'd probally take that up to the dealer. Is it physically moving the car forward or is it just a thud in the car? Sounds like trouble to me though.

No, its not physically moving the car (haha then i would DEFINITELY know something was wrong). I dont know how to describe it. It's like, your sittin there at a light or something, and all of a sudden it just feels as if someone hits you really lightly on your bumper. Sometimes I look in my rearview and am like WTF? But no one is there.

must be, that's never happened to me w/my manual. but i also rarely take my foot off the clutch and brake at a stoplight, maybe if i left in it neutral and took my feet off it would happen too, but so far, nope, and i have 12,500k on mine.

Yea, i had that happen to me.. it's a feeling i had before when i was learning to drive stick...it fells as if the engine is gonna stall and the RPM drops... kinda funny thought cause it makes me wanna gun it at the light!!! also make me think i was driving a stick....or maybe the car is just really telling you to step on the gas!!! dun worry you guys..we've merged with the car to become one almighty power/force to be reckoned with!! muahhaha[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
