Malfunction Lamp!!

hey, have a quick question i just got my "malfunction indicator lamp" turned on recently. I noticed, while i was parked, my exhaust started to shake abnormally and even though i was in neutral my rpms slightly started to go up and down (felt like my car was struggling). Similiar thing happened when i was in 1st gear, i gased it but my car wasn't going anywhere. It doesn't happen all the time, but the light it still on. Just wondering before I take it to autozone, if theres anything i can do to solve this problem. thanks

info:
2004 civic ex.
i/h/e
a/f gauge.

but seeing your mods, I'm guessing thats a fake a/f ratio gauge and not a wideband. it is most likely sending false a/f voltage to the ecu and ruining your fuel mixture.

yea. they draw voltage from the stock sensor and mess it up. and its still not accurate, just a light show. they sell modified gauges that work under full throttle only, but you should still get a separate sensor. If you go wideband, it works all the time.
