Side Spoilers keep peeling away.

I have the HFP side spoilers and at the back the adhesive just keeps peeling away from the body. I just recently got the skirts, and I've gone back to Honda twice to fix them. Now they are coming off again.

You guys have any suggestions for keep those things on the body. Could I just use super glue? I don't want to do anything that'll screw up the paint permanantly, though.

you mean sideskirts? try using 3M Double Sided tape, once they stick, its a pain in the *** to get them off.

A factory kit should have been put on with double sided automotive grade tape along with screws on the ends.

ALmost all factory bodykits are this way. I dont think they installed yours right.

i use to have that same problem with the aero HFP side skirts and would seperate near the back end part of the skirt.

heres the secret.... loosen the last metal hanger(i think its a 8 mm). after loosening it up, unclip it form the metal flap where the jackpoint runs along and just let it hang loose(or u can just remove it after with a screwdriver). this eliminates the skirt from peeling off cuz its no longer being forced inward.

try it and let me know... it worked for me

i have the rs sides skirts, but ive had this problem before. make sure the area where the tape goes over is cleansed. use alcohol or dish washing soap and dry, then just retape it. my skirts came with clips for the bottom, but i dont use them and they've held fine for a while now.

Also, when you took it to honda i dont think they replaced the tape with a new piece. usually they'll just clean the old piece and make it stickier. Thats how they fixed mine after i got it from the shop from an accident. sounds kinda wierd, but they did it.
